Portable heaters
Heat the room you’re in, not the four empty ones around it
IgnisNova is a 1500W PTC ceramic heater with a remote, a 12-hour timer and a child lock. Here is how it warms a bedroom, an office or a living room, and what it costs.
See if this sounds like your house. You wince before you open the heating bill, again. You type in a home office so cold you keep a blanket over your knees and the door shut tight.
And every evening you pay to warm four empty rooms so that one of them, the living room at 8pm, finally feels comfortable.
That last one is the quiet money-drain in most homes. Central heating has one setting that matters: everything. The boiler feeds radiators in the hallway, the spare room and a bathroom nobody enters before morning.
Most of that heat warms empty air, and the meter counts every degree anyway. Stretched across a long cold season, that isn’t loose change: it’s a line on the bill you can actually see.
The fix is old and simple
The fix is zone heating done properly: a compact ceramic heater in the room you’re actually using, boiler turned down everywhere else. A good 1500W PTC unit takes a bedroom or office up to temperature within minutes, and it only burns electricity where you’re sitting.
What it is
This is IgnisNova: a compact upright ceramic heater with a round digital display set into its front panel. A full-face mesh grille pushes warm air out at seated height.
The spec sheet reads like it was written by someone who has actually lived in a cold house with children. Here is what it does, feature by feature.
How it works
1500W of PTC heat that arrives in minutes
PTC ceramic is why it feels quick. The element reaches temperature almost as soon as you switch on and regulates itself while it runs. The fan pushes warm air into the room instead of letting it collect at the ceiling. In a cold bedroom, the change is obvious within minutes.

Four modes for real weather, not brochure weather
Eco holds a room steady without hammering the meter. Low takes the edge off a chilly evening; high is for mornings with frost on the inside of the glass. And fan-only keeps the unit earning its floor space in spring, moving air on days that need circulation rather than heat.
A remote control in the box, at no extra cost
Change heat and timer from the sofa or from under the duvet. It sounds like a small luxury until a freezing morning proves otherwise. You turn the heat on before your feet touch the floor, instead of crossing cold boards to poke at a dial.
A 12-hour timer that switches itself off
Set an hour and it turns off; set eight hours for a full day at the desk.
A child lock that keeps settings exactly where you left them
Kids can press every button on the panel and nothing changes. If there are small children in the house, this is the feature that matters most.
Tip-over and overheat shut-offs, active on every mode
A wagging tail, a crawling toddler, your own foot: if the unit goes over, the power cuts instantly on its own. Run too hot, and it shuts itself down instead of pushing on. None of it needs configuring; it’s active from the first time you plug it in.
What it is not
Two honest caveats. First: it’s a one-room heater. It will not carry a large open-plan ground floor on its own, and the maker doesn’t pretend otherwise. Second: on high you hear a steady hum. It’s the fair trade for fast warmth, and quieter than you might expect, but it’s there.

How much it costs
IgnisNova is sold directly online: there’s no retail shelf markup, no distributor margin and no advertising surcharge built into the price. It has a 1500W PTC element, four modes, a remote, a 12-hour timer, a child lock and tip-over and overheat shut-off.
It currently costs €99.99 instead of the regular €199.98 on the official site.
That’s a 50% discount, applied automatically at the checkout.
€99.99 is promotional pricing, not the standard price. The official offer page always shows today’s price, so check it before you decide. What doesn’t change is the guarantee: 30 days, money back, in writing.

Questions readers ask
What if it doesn’t heat my room the way I expect?
Every order is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee, with a full refund. It takes three steps:
- Email customer service within 30 days of purchase; no reason needed.
- Send it back undamaged in its original packaging; you pay the return postage.
- Your refund arrives within 14 days of the return, the way you paid.
Is it safe to run in a home with children or pets?
The child lock stops settings being changed, and tip-over protection cuts the power instantly if the unit is knocked over. Overheat protection shuts it down if the airflow is blocked, and the 12-hour timer means it need never run longer than you intended.
Will it work in my home, or do I need anything special?
No installation, no special wiring, no app, no account. IgnisNova plugs into any standard European wall socket and works straight out of the box in bedrooms, living rooms, offices and guest rooms. The remote control comes included.
Which rooms is it for?
One room at a time: a bedroom, a living room, an office or a guest room. It won’t carry a large open-plan ground floor on its own.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery is free. Orders are dispatched within 24 hours on working days from an EU warehouse.
How does PTC heating actually work?
PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) ceramic elements self-regulate: they heat up within moments of switching on and automatically limit their own temperature.
Our verdict
IgnisNova heats the room you’re in, fast. It pairs a remote, a 12-hour auto-off timer and a child lock with tip-over and overheat protection, backed by a written 30-day money-back guarantee.
If your evenings sound like the ones at the top, one warm room paid for with four cold ones, order IgnisNova from the official website. Keep the boiler turned down and let the room, and the next bill, be the judge.
